The Redmi A3x 4G keeps small sizes, so you can carry it in your pocket or purse without problems. Aranka made sure to keep it light and danceable so you never get annoyed even during late night experimentation. Dimensions may vary among colors and with different configurations.
Display
Size and Resolution:
Redmi A3x 4G has a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD Display. It may not be the biggest display on the market, but it offers a lot of real estate for comfortable showing content ΒΒ browsing web pages, watching videos or playing games. Therefore, you get the well-detailed and sharp text & images in HD+ Resolution (720x1640 Pixels).
Brightness and Contrast:
Both of these areas are fine for the Redmi A3x 4G, but where its screen really excels is in terms of brightness. Most importantly, the entire screen is comfortably viewable in even the brightest conditions you should experience in a South-West Australian field. Which makes it perfect to use in many environments ranging from cozy at home all the way to busy outdoors arena. In combination with that, the pretty good contrast ratios in the display allow for some nice colors and saturation, which does compliment quite well with the already good style of viewing stuff.
Color Accuracy and Viewing Angels:
The IPS LCD panel of the Redmi A3x 4G gives very good viewing angles that allows for consistent color and accurate representation even when viewed at different angles. That this means you can sit comfortably and watch with more than one other person without sacrificing visual quality is a big win. Color accuracy may not be as precise as more premium devices but still does a great job for the price.
Touchscreen Responsiveness:
The touch screen of the Redmi A3x 4G is pretty responsive without any visible lag or delay in touch input. As a result, using the UI, typing messages or interacting with apps is a joy. Touch sensitivity differences might be noticeable at the very edges of the screen, however.
Outdoor Visibility:
Outdoor visibility of the display is one element, which matters a lot in providing a good user experience. The brightness of the Redmi A3x 4G is reasonably good, which saves a lot. It didn't pop quite as much as with some of the premium devices, but it's mostly legible in just about any outdoor condition Yes, even on a sunny day. But the display can appear a bit washed out when viewing high-contrast content at full brightness in direct sunlight.
Camera
Camera Specifications:
At the back, the Redmi A3x 4G has a dual camera configuration with an 8MP sensor as its main lens and a 2MP depth unit. At the front, it comes with a 5MP selfie shooter. Now, by flagship standards these specs may seem dreary however they're more than sufficient for everyday camera usage.
Primary Camera Performance:
The 8MP main camera on the Redmi A3x 4G takes good photos in well-lit environments. These images are reasonably accurate color-wise and have decent amount of detail. The camera is also very capable of dynamic range and can handle high contrast scenes very well.
Camera Performance:
Daylight Photography:
Daylight Images: The Redmi A3x 4G does a decent job during daylight hours, reproducing natural colors and displaying reasonably sharp images. The main sensor can take social media sharable images.
Dynamic range is on the good side where in it fares able to bring more details out of shadows or blown out highlights. But, there's the HDR mode which might sometimes help you with dynamic range
Focus: The AF is confident and swift in most normal situations, getting the subject sharp where it should be.
Low-Light Photography:
The budget performance of Redmi A3x 4G in low light conditions is praiseworthy. In fact, in capturing light the camera's sensor has a lot going for it, translating into low-noise shots with above-average detail levels. The shots are not as crispy as the ones shot in daylight but good enough for your average-cool-kid-photo, I am a writer anyways.
It has decent noise reduction, but you may notice some noise in low-light images. As for night mode an interesting case, where the power of AI can come to assist in boosting what could be considered a bad compromised ISO image. It will have noise reduction and you guessed it lower resolution and over all possibly better result than before.
Preserving Details: Preserving details can become a difficult task under low light conditions. The camera equally can be freezing maintained details, especially in darker segments of the impression.
Portrait Mode:
The Redmi A3x 4G does not have a dedicated depth sensor however it is still able to produce the bokeh effect through software algorithms. Portrait mode does an adequate job of blurring the background to separate my subject. Without the detail most depth sensors used for blur have, it should make a creative option for capturing your own portraits.
Depth Sensor: The presence of a depth sensor means that the Redmi A3x 4G can shoot portrait shots with nice bokeh effect. The camera is able to properly boken the background into that classic natural blur, allowing the character really stand out.
Edge Detection: The edge detection algorithm is OK for the most part, but there are some cases where the camera faces difficulties in properly distinguishing the subject from background.
Video Quality:
On the back, the Redmi A3x 4G has a dual-camera setup that comprises of a main sensor and depth sensor. The main sensor might not be too high resolution, but it will still capture a pretty good looking video given that the conditions are right. Finally, even though some color aspects are spot on too and the effort to remove noise is good. But the video quality can get ugly pretty quickly in low-light situations, appearing grainy and losing a lot of its detail.
Video Features:
The Redmi A3x 4G a list of elementary for Video Recording There will be a variety of resolution and frame rate options, including 1080p 30fps perfect for sharing screen captures on your socials! It also has a time-lapse mode for shortened versions of lengthy events. The camera app itself didn't have advanced features like Optical Image Stabilization (OIS,) but the EIS delivered good results in minimizing jitteriness from shaky hands, particularly in building shots.
The Redmi A3x 4G also supports 1080p video recording and from what we've seen the frame rate is decent. Should look okay for shooting and sharing UIT able View Flex headers in the blink of an eye.
Image stabilization: EIS helps to stabilize the image and thus videos as well. However, the stabilization might not be as good compared to more high-end smartphones.
Camera Features:
The Redmi A3x 4G has some additional camera features to spice things up a bit when taking photos. The HDR, panorama mode and time-lapse photography are also available. And in these modes, users are able to take creative and different photographs beyond the standard.
The camera's AI scene detection will automatically identify the scene and adjust settings for you. This can further help in enhancing quality of the image in different light conditions.
This enables you to take better portrait and selfie shots--its beauty mode smooths skin and gets rid of blemishes.
Wide-angle: The wide-angle feature enables users to take photos with a larger field of perspective, made up of assembly multiple images together.
Time lapse mode: With this mode you can shoot multiple images at intervals to create an interesting time lapse video.
Performance
Processor and Performance:
As for the processor, on the Redmi A3x 4G model we have a Unisoc T603 (22nm), a fairly low performance chip here to cater to cost-effective devices in reality. It is not the most powerful processor, but it can still do things such as surfing, social media etc. Itβs not going to blow you away by being able to handle triple a game titles at a high resolution, but for regular stuff itβs more than adequate.
RAM and Multitasking:
Moreover, the 2GB variant should be good with basic tasks and choosing the 3GB one can give you a decent deal in multitasking. Although it is a phone with only 3GB of RAM, you can change from one app to another without larger delays or arrests.
Storage and Expandability:
The storage under the Redmi A3x 4G is also available in abundance, with starting at 32GB and offering a cap at 64GB. Those should be plenty for apps, photos and videos. The Redmi A3x 4G is a smart phone that it is not for gaming are quite high end, but in some basic games like Temple Run and Subway Surfers can run this game smoothly. Though you may see frame drops, or stuttering in higher end games if left set to high. A good idea to play with smoother experience, which would be possible if you chose lower graphics settings.
Mixed Bag:
Performance is pretty much what you would typically get with an entry-level smartphone like the Redmi A3x 4G. The 22 nm Unisoc T603 processor is not very powerful, though it will suffice on a day-to-day basis for web browsing, emails and social media apps. But with more intensive activities like gaming or doing a bit of multitasking, the tablet begins to lag.
Switching between Apps and Multitasking:
A3x comes with 2GB of RAM, certainly enough for light multitasking. You can switch between a couples of apps without seeing great lag. But if you're used to using lots of apps at once, you could find your keep up experiencing some slow down when moving between memory-hogging applications.

Proper Score for Single-Core Geekbench 200, and for MultiCore bench- probably 600.
