Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Introduction:
Samsung in a blaze of glory presented new Samsung Galaxy A Series devices shortly after the premiere of the Galaxy S24. Both the Galaxy A35 and the Galaxy A55 refine on the success of their previous models, offering some updated designs, specs, and camera platforms. We are going to discuss the Galaxy A35 today in detail. The design of the new Samsung Galaxy A35 looks good and clean. As one might expect, the good news is there aren't exactly a lot of them and that they don't seem designed to persuade the Galaxy A34 owners to upgrade as much as attract new or existing Samsung customers rocking much older phones.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Here, the Galaxy A35 starts with a shiny new dual-glass design and a sturdier Gorilla Glass Victus+ front panel. It is IP67 rated for dust as well as water resistance and sports a slew of eye-catching colors.
Β
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Build:
According to the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G price in India, it appears near-identical to many recent Galaxy A phones in the A35. Nothing wrong with that!? In over the past two years, the form and shape of it is dialed by far. They're instantly recognizable too. The Galaxy A35 comes with a plastic frame, having the glass back panel whereas the Galaxy A34 had a plastic back panel requirement. Moreover, the front panel protection is bumped to Gorilla Glass Victus+ glass from GG5. All of these panels are flat and gloss black. It will come in Iceblue, Lilac, Lemon, and Navy.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β The 1080p+ resolution measures 2400x1080 pixels across a 6.6-inch panel that supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses the same panel as the Galaxy A34, complete with that teardrop-shaped cutout and reasonably beefy but ubiquitous bezels. The plastic frame is large and flat, just like the previous version but now comes with a matt finish. A bit of a twist is that the power and volume buttons are now on a raised panel, which initially seemed a bit unnecessary but in retrospect offered a convenient benefit.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Display:
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β The screen is again a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels (390ppi), a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 8-bit color depth and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, matching the display on the Galaxy A34. No official HDR certification Finally, we completed our Galaxy A35 display measurements, and unsurprisingly, they are identical to the A34 and A54. We saw as high as 441 nits manually and over 1024-nits automatically. On its face, the Galaxy A35 can be viewed its bright 120Hz refresh rate-capable AMOLED screen. Both modes have 2 Motion Smoothness modes, Adaptive and Standard.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β There is no HDR content streaming for the Galaxy A35, and it is not listed as an HDR10 device either. By comparison, YouTube takes the A35 beyond the screen's HDR10 streaming capabilities when watching HDR10 content.
For now, it can only decode HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG, Dolby Vision remains out of this possibility. It is also support Widevine L1.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Camera:
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β By default, a 12.5MP resolution is used for taking photos from the main camera. These are pretty good quality in general; The frame contains numerous details with minor artificial sharpening. In fact, Samsung's processing here looks so 'loose' that you can even see a trace of noise in parts of very even surfaces. So, then that makes very even looking. The main camera is capable of photographing people or faces fairly well too. Skin texture and tone look very real. Really, the only issue we have though is when shooting people - the autofocus will still occasionally seem not to find a subject perfectly and their faces are a bit soft. Which is why you have to take at least a couple of snaps.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β You can make the main camera shoots at full 50MP. Results are not hugely different from standard 12.5 mp shots, but we welcome the slight increase in fine detail in this shot. It also has a little better dynamic range in the shots, most notable in areas such as the sky. Now, the Galaxy A35 does not come with a telephoto lens, but that main one still crops to 2x just well. The same substance of the images can be found in these, just the 1x are a little sharper.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Selfie camera: 13MP also and takes some decent shots overall The long line of x0 crop levels will give you this crop as a 12MP image; for the x.33 and x.67 crops youll get a 21MP image (still no change so far) while the last section of the line will give you a 38MP image. There is a fixed focus here, but the focal plane is wide for shooting at different distances.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Performance:
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Samsung Galaxy A35 is built around the Samsung Exynos 1380 chip - a familiar slab of silicon that is essentially "trickling down" this generation now that it previously powered the Galaxy A54 (and its "derivatives" - the Galaxy F54 and M54) from last year. It is not a bad chip per se. It has 5G connectivity and a range of modern connectivity features including Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi 6.
But don't expect much in terms of performance out of our test engine. The CPU configuration comprises of 4 Cortex-A78 cores (at up to 2.4 GHz) and 4 Cortex-A55 cores (at up to 2.0 GHz). First, some benchmark numbers to get lines moving, starting with CPU benchmarks, specifically GeekBench. Exynos 1380 is among the median chips for single-threaded performance.Samsung is also somehow able to clock the same silicon a bit higher than the one inside the Galaxy A54, but in practice you probably won't be able to tell the difference.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β The Exynos 1380 also appears to deliver unleaded multi-core. It is still more or less in line with both the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 but significantly faster than the Dimensity 1080 and 7030. Not even the Dimensity 7200 (Pro/Ultra) can compete here. Once again, these differences are not significant enough to result in real-world performance gains.
Β
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Battery:
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β The Galaxy A35 packs a 5,000mAh battery. We expected the same battery life as the Galaxy A54 | and we got a gently better score.
The Galaxy A35 returned an Active Use Score of 12:26h, and it did all well in our call test and video test, as well as gaming, but was average in the web time. Every single model from the current Samsung Galaxy A portfolio is compatible with up to 25W wired fast charging, and the Galaxy A35 is no exception. Once again, no charger in the box. Any 25W PD+PPS charger you have will do as this is the maximum charging power the Phone can reach to.
Β
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Software:
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β One UI 6.1 runs on the latest Android 14 in the Galaxy A35 This is, technically, the latest version of One UI that the Korean giant makes, sharing some similarities with the flagship S24 series, just less a few features here and there. Oh, and if you were expecting the A35 to introduce Samsung's brand new "Galaxy AI," you'd be wrong. It is confined to the S24 series for now and will be arriving to some few older shortly. But one thing that Samsung hasn't extended to its lower-end models yet is the seven-year software support.
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Samsung Galaxy A35 gets four years of major OS updates, and five years of security patches. That is for sure a lot better than some of the smaller Galaxy phones, like the A15 5G.
One UI 6 will bring a lot of the changes such as a Quick Panel redesign, better notification tweaking, a boosted and streamlined camera app, more accessible gallery and editing features, and several fantastic new features as well. This is a semi-feature complete version of One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy A35. You get an excellent experience identical to a Galaxy S series for the most part. The A35 also includes an Always On Display.
