Expert point of view
Realme has been hitting hard in the smartphone market by launching budget phones with higher specifications. The Realme will now be introducing another new model in his data center to finalize an impressive lineup of premium features at a midranger price. Here, we are going to do a deep dive and see the newest member in action on how it looks like as well as getting our hands-on experience.
Realme has always stood out for providing flagship like features at an affordable price point in the budget smartphone market. Today I have the Realme 13 Pro Plus with us, which is the Chinese brand's latest phone for India. The device sports a design that looks and feels premium without the accompanying price tag. We take a deeper dive into those core design and building aspect.

Design & Build
Realme 13 Pro+ will have a head-turning design. The slightly rounded corners feel nice in the hands with a smooth finish, and then there's an added textured design on the back to provide a bit of flare. The device will come in a few colors.
Realme 13 Pro Plus. “Aesthetically curved for visual treat” The sides of the back panel gently curve, creating an ergonomic grip that feels comfortable to hold in your hand. Its slim profile further adds to the comfort and can easily slide into your pocket if needed. In that respect, the general approach of design looks classy which is more distinctive form competitors.
For the 13 Pro Plus, Realme leaves no rock unturned when it comes to only choosing absolute premium quality materials. The back panel comes in both glass and vegan leather options, all with their own appeal. The glass one is well glittered when light reflects it. The vegan leather, by contrast feels more plasticky to the touch and also has a luxury enhancement. It has a metal framework that houses the technology, providing some mechanical girders for durability.
Display
The Indian variant of the Realme 13 Pro+ phone comes with a curved AMOLED display measuring at 6.7-inches delivering Full HD+ resolution (1080x2412 pixels) It has a 120Hz refresh screen, so scrolling and animations are smooth. On top of that, the display is also HDR-compliant and ultra-vivid to make sure your photos and content always look amazing.

The display on the Realme 13 Pro+ also comes embodied with AMOLED technology, which is Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode. It is a well-known fact that AMOLED display screens provide broad blacks, high contrast artifacts and whiter colors. They are also the most efficient when it comes to energy savings within traditional LCD displays.
There is a bit of curve on the display in Realme 13 Pro+ here at corners which look and feels more immersive. The best part about the curved design is, it makes single handed operation comfortable.
Realme 13 Pro+ display also offers a high refresh rate of 120Hz. This means the screen can refresh 120 times per second, leading to more smooth scrolling and animations.
Camera
Realme has been making quite a noise in the smartphone market with its budget yet highly-powered packed devices. Even the more expensive flagships, including the X50 Pro 5G and Realme's own GT series lineup have possessed a good camera setup similar to that of what we expect here with this phone. This blog post will talk about Realme 13 Pro+ India Unit Rear and more insights of the camera.
Camera Specifications
-
50MP Sony IMX766 sensor (f/1.8) with OIS
-
Secondary camera: 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with f/2.2 aperture and OIS (periscope lens for 5x optical zoom)
-
Third Camera: 8MP ultra-wide subscription camera with f/2.2 aperture
For the price, the camera setup is something else; it gives to photography a high dynamic range and shoot quality videos under diverse light conditions.

Video Quality
Realme 13 Pro+ comes with video recording support of up to 4K at the rate. The image quality is pretty good, with stable footage and true-to-life colors. The OIS eliminates motion blur in videos. That is, even if the footage has been shot while walking or running it should appear stable and clear as a final output.
Portrait Mode
Realme 13 Pro+ offers a dedicated portrait mode skips to both the cameras creating bokeh effect. The portrait mode works brilliantly in separating subjects from the backdrop and delivers a rather natural-looking bokeh effect.
Night Mode
Realme 13 Pro+ Talk about the night mode, it helps to improve image quality in low-light scenarios. It actually lowers the noise and brightens the image (Night Mode).
For photography or videography, there is next to nothing out of the ordinary equipped with a great rear camera layout along with an attractive display & decent screen size on Realme 13 Pro+ India variant. Its primary camera is already solid, and periscope lens 5x optical zoom available. The ultra-wide-angle camera clicks good photos too with the image quality just not as high like on the primary lens. If you're in the market for a phone with impressive camera capabilities, then go ahead and get the Realme 13 Pro+.
Front Camera
The front, there is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor on board of Realme 13 Pro Plus. This is quite big of a sensor for front camera of a smartphone, and it should capture images with sharp clarity in low light areas. The front-facing camera aptitude is f/2.4, which we can say average regarding a front cam as very few of us use them for low light pics anyway).

Video Quality
Realme 13 Pro Plus Video Recording: Front Camera supports video recording up to 4K. Video quality is decent, sharp and detailed Additionally, the camera can stabilize video so you'll be able to film without shaking.
Performance
Realme has been rocking the Indian smartphone market by offering affordable yet value for money smartphones. The newly launched Realme 13 Pro+ is not an exception. The mid-range option comes with a powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and plenty of RAM/storage, to offer good performance in its class. Here we will discuss the performance of Realme 13 Pro+ in India.
Under the hood, we get to see Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor on Realme 13 Pro Plus. it is paired with Adreno 710. This is basically a mid-range chipset so you should be fine with most general tasks. Snapdragon 7S Gen 2 is a better version of Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and thus comes with a faster CPU and GPU, among other improvements on the AI front.
Gaming Performance
Most modern games should be playable on the Realme 13 Pro+ It runs games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile with high graphics easily. Still it will likely have a hard time running the most demanding games on their highest settings.
Software Experience
Realme 13 Pro Plus will ship with Android version. The device may support Realme UI on top, or as a possible instance Andriod. The device boots Realme UI on top of Android 14 and the skin is extremely bloated with tons of custom features & customization options. Here, the software experience in Realme 13 Pro Plus is clean and very responsive. There are a couple of small bugs and hiccups, but they aren't anything serious.
Over time, Realme has put in a lot of time and money improving its custom skin on top android known as realme UI. One of the best things about the Realme 13 Pro Plus is its clean and user-friendly UI which looks very modern too. The local features and language support will be best enjoyed by the Indian customers, making their experience seamless. Plenty of theme options are also available which will help the user to change his device appearance and functionalities.
Battery life
The Realme 13 Pro+ is a mid-tier smartphone but it provides tons of bang for your buck. This is highlighted by its exceptional 5200mAh battery with 80W Fast Charge.
Realme 13 Pro+ also comes with some battery optimization features. These improvements should also help overall battery life of the phone as background activity for apps will be reduced and power consumption can be limited.
Dark Mode is probably the most utilized battery overhaul feature. Dark Mode, as the name implies dims the screen of your device thereby saving some battery life. The phone has different power-saving modes like Ultra Power saving mode & Standby Intelligent power saving can be used to enhance battery backup.
Conclusion
This device is a mid-ranged smartphone having great blend of features at an extremely budget-friendly price. The cameras of this phone is its trump card, and can capture pictures/videos under varied lighting conditions in an impressive manner. The phone also sports a vivid, colorful display and great battery life with fast charging. As always, though, performance isn't quite up to the competition available elsewhere and it could use a better software experience.
Realme 13 Pro Plus really good value for money. It has a lot going for it, with highly competitive specs including its impressive camera rig. It also sports one of the best screens around, great battery life and fast charging powers – so it's well worth considering before you splash out on expensive top-end device from Apple or Samsung. But it's far from the best in class when it comes to performance and could benefit from software improvements. As such, if you are in the market for a mid-range phone with an excellent camera then look no farther than Realme 13 Pro Plus.
