Expert point of view

The Samsung Galaxy A35 perfectly suits all those who value reliable performance, great display quality, loud speakers, and an all-day battery backup. The camera's performance is good in daylight, but the low-light performance could have been so much better.

The Galaxy A35 even sets itself apart from most of its competitors with a promise of four years of major Android updates and five years of security updates. Fast charging could be an area where Samsung could learn a lesson from its competitors.

 Design and Display

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Mobile pros and cons

The A35 5g mobile phone samsung has a highly modern and elegant design by being flat and having a premium matte finish that makes the device look quite trendy and sophisticated. The device consists of 6.6 inches of a super AMOLED display that is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, thus producing vivid colors and smooth vividness. The rear panel is entirely clean and elegant, consisting of three vertically aligned cameras that give it a really clean and elegant appearance. This device maintains modern aesthetics with its slim bezels and punch-hole front camera. The device comes in colours like Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy to be trendy and comfortable and also see mobile phone price samsung for you budget.

The screen is again a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels (390ppi), a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 8-bit color depth, and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, matching the display on the Galaxy A34. No official HDR certification. Finally, we completed our Galaxy A35 display measurements, and unsurprisingly, they are identical to the A34 and A54. We saw as high as 441 nits manually and over 1024 nits automatically. On its face, the Galaxy A35 can be viewed for its bright 120Hz refresh rate-capable AMOLED screen. Both modes have 2 Motion Smoothness modes, Adaptive and Standard.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Mobile 50MP Camera

By default, a 12.5MP resolution is used for taking photos from the main camera. These are pretty good quality in general; The frame contains numerous details with minor artificial sharpening. Samsung's processing here looks so 'loose' that you can even see a trace of noise in parts of very even surfaces. So, then that makes it very even-looking. The main camera is capable of photographing people or faces fairly well, too. Skin texture and tone look very real. The only issue we have, though, is when shooting people - the autofocus will still occasionally seem not to find a subject perfectly, and their faces are a bit soft. Which is why you have to take at least a couple of snaps.

You can make the main camera shoot at full 50MP. Results are not hugely different from standard 12.5 MP shots, but we welcome the slight increase in fine detail in this shot. It also has a little better dynamic range in the shots, most notably in areas such as the sky. Now, the Galaxy A35 does not come with a telephoto lens, but that main one still crops to 2x just as well. The same substance of the images can be found in these, just the 1x are a little sharper.

Selfie camera: 13MP also and takes some decent shots overall The long line of x0 crop levels will give you this crop as a 12MP image; for the x.33 and x.67 crops youll get a 21MP image (still no change so far) while the last section of the line will give you a 38MP image. There is a fixed focus here, but the focal plane is wide for shooting at different distances.

Performance and Software

Samsung Galaxy A35 is built around the Samsung Exynos 1380 chip - a familiar slab of silicon that is essentially "trickling down". The Exynos 1380 also appears to deliver unleaded multi-core. It is still more or less in line with both the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, but significantly faster than the Dimensity 1080 and 7030. Not even the Dimensity 7200 (Pro/Ultra) can compete here. Once again, these differences are not significant enough to result in real-world performance gains.

But don't expect much in terms of performance out of our test engine. The CPU configuration comprises 4 Cortex-A78 cores (at up to 2.4 GHz) and 4 Cortex-A55 cores (at up to 2.0 GHz). First, some benchmark numbers to get lines moving, starting with CPU benchmarks, specifically GeekBench. Exynos 1380 is among the median chips for single-threaded performance. Samsung is also somehow able to clock the same silicon a bit higher than the one inside the Galaxy A54, but in practice, you probably won't be able to tell the difference.

One UI 6.1 runs on the latest Android 14 in the Galaxy A35. This is, technically, the latest version of One UI that the Korean giant makes, sharing some similarities with the flagship S24 series, just a few features here and there. Oh, and if you were expecting the A35 to introduce Samsung's brand new "Galaxy AI," you'd be wrong. It is confined to the S24 series for now and will be arriving at a few older models shortly. But one thing that Samsung hasn't extended to its lower-end models yet is the seven-year software support. Samsung Galaxy A35 gets four years of major OS updates and five years of security patches. That is for sure a lot better than some of the smaller Galaxy phones, like the A15 5 G. Also view samsung mobile phone under 15000

Battery and charging

The Samsung Galaxy A35's 5000mAh battery is engineered for long-lasting performance, keeping your phone on for day-long use. It supports 25W fast charging, allowing quick recharging whenever needed. The battery intelligently optimizes power management, thus enhancing battery life during multitasking, gaming, and video streaming. It offers more than a day of usage under moderate to heavy use, depending on your specific needs. Lively video watching and active surfing are fueled by dependable battery life.

I used a 67W SuperVOOC charger from OnePlus to charge the Galaxy A35, and it took a little over an hour to reach 100%. Using a Samsung-compatible charger might deliver slightly better results. When it comes to battery life, the Galaxy A35 performs impressively. In the PC Mark battery test, it lasted nearly 13 hours in flight mode with 50% brightness. That’s a solid result for its price range. Even with the 120Hz refresh rate turned on, along with 5G and Always-On Display (AOD), you can still expect a full day’s use. The phone strikes a great balance between performance and battery efficiency.

Conclusion

The Galaxy A35 demonstrates that superior specifications alone do not guarantee a top-tier model. It performs everyday tasks smoothly and features one of the most impressive displays for its price range. The design is trendy and not overly masculine. It also guarantees good battery life, which works very well for heavy users who want their device to last longer. See this latest phone from samsung

If gaming is the main purpose, you may want to check out the iQOO Neo 9 Pro or the OnePlus 12R since both have much greater performance muscle but are priced at a high end. If you are looking for a curved display and other features that are similar to those of the Galaxy A35 but with fast charging, then the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is worth looking at.

If you are using a Samsung phone and are thinking of upgrading, then the Galaxy A35 or even the slightly more upscale Galaxy A55 makes total sense. Not only would you be getting a good smartphone, but also a part of the Samsung ecosystem that guarantees seamless connectivity between devices.
